Rocks

Using my camera attached to a trinuncular microscope, or a specialised macro lens on my camera, I explore and highlight the features of rocks that often go unseen.

Very often, I find myself drawing out landscapes within these images of rocks, uncovering hidden worlds, and linking what lies beneath our feet with what lies around us.

Exploring the shapes, patterns, textures, colours, and hidden features of rocks and gemstones.

Finding abstract images within the stones that create flow and evoke feeling.

Within this gallery are many images that have not made it into my core print collection, but that I love. They may be available upon request, at times as prints at a show, or as a guide or inspiration for a custom image or item.
