The Occasional Artisan

Amy Smith is a designer; maker; photographer; former trade qualified (and award winning) jeweller; and if one must use the term, artist.

Why the name? Well, I'm an artisan because I am all of the above, and occasional because I have 2 children and an addiction to running. Also, I feel that what I do is for 'occasions'. For making everyday life something enjoyable for yourself, or for gifting to another on a special celebration.

The Occasional Artisan encompasses my passion for making. Jewellery, photographs, bags, wall hangings, hall tables, tutus, books, calligraphy, printmaking - I love it all! As long as I am creating ❤️
